5. Finalize project close out.


Ensure that the project, or a phase of the project, is correctly closed.


At the end of each project, determine if the project delivered the planned results and benefits. Identify and communicate remaining work and document lessons learned for use on future projects.


Release project staff.

Plan an orderly closure for team members who have finished their work and an optimized reconfiguration of remaining project team.

Relieve contractor and subcontractor.

Close the subcontractor and supplier Agreements.

Handle completing the project.

Conclude the project correctly and in an a good fashion.
