Create the Project quality management plan which describes the quality system for the project and how it will be implemented. Review and agree to the Project quality management plan with key project stakeholders and then incorporate tasks into the project management plan.
Review and agree to the qualty plan with Stakeholders.
Practices
- Provide quality assurance for project deliverable ensuring they are reviewed and accepted according to acceptance criteria defined in the agreement.
- For each deliverable, establish ownership, responsibilities, and quality review processes necessary for achieving required quality objectives. Where needed, include success criteria and performance metrics, to provide quality assurance for the project deliverables.
- Define criteria for independent verification and validation for the quality of deliverables in the plan.
- Enhanced opportunity for deliverables to meet customer expectations as defined in Agreements
- Increased probability that product and, or services satisfy business and user requirements
- Improved and consistent levels of quality assurance across projects, including third parties
- Increased probability that deliverables won’t meet business or user requirements
- Decreased focus on handling and reviewing project deliverables using a structured approach
- Increased likelihood that deliverables negatively impact existing systems and infrastructure
